The website would be a single point of contact for those who lost their homes and in need of  somewhere to live and other necessities. Two bright lights did come on in the language lab, but in general the hallway and classrooms were in total darkness.  Students spilled out into the corridors using their cell phones as flashlights. San Ysidro exit is closed and people are slowing down to read the sign at Santa Claus Ln. in Carpinteria.
